MOTHER LONDON

This illustration was commissioned by the creative team at Mother London to mark a major moment: the announcement of their newest senior partner. The team was looking for a richly detailed editorial illustration that’s equal parts portrait, easter egg hunt, and heartfelt welcome.

Working closely with Mother, I crafted a cozy, cinematic tableau featuring the agency’s three senior leaders. Every element—from the textiles to the football mug—was chosen with intention, packed with references meaningful to Mother’s team. The goal was to bring those quiet symbols to life in a way that felt warm, whimsical, and personal.

Alongside the main illustration, we created a subtly animated cinemagraph—just a touch of movement to add a breath of storytelling magic. Designed to be used across platforms, the final piece captures the thoughtful, independent spirit at the heart of Mother London.
